Hello,

I have been looking into changing my oliver 77 RC Tractor's Transmission oil, "Anyways "Ive looked into my books and its saying to use a (#140 SAE Oil on summer use) and a ( #90 SAE on Winter use) But Ive noticed they dont make a 140 or 90 oil anymore? its in an 85W What Kind do you use then?

I just got #90 sae a few weeks ago in a 5 gallon pale here in north central Iowa, it was Phillips 66. And just bought a pail of the same stuff before that. but it was Mobil

Any 80-90 weight oil will work.

Hi,

On the Oliver.....again?
My tractor is a 1950 or 52 I think? anyhow, does the Transmission use a(( Gear-lube oil))in a 80-90 or ((Transmission Oil))?Or is it the same.

Trans and rear end use the same lube.
