I was looking on youtube today, and seen this came up, its from 2010. And for all who always argue with me on how the hemi has no poser and how the ford 6.2 is so much better. This video shows that the hemi is better loaded/ and unloaded.
And for the ones who will argue still, on how its not 2013, be glad it isn't, the dodge would beat it even worse with there new six speed that wasn't offered in 2010,

Suppose to be power, spell check,. And it's a generation three hemi, everyone says, its not the same as the old hemi, well I hope not, why would they put 1960s technology in a 2013 pickup? Next year its gonna be a 6.4 hemi which I can't wait for.

"why would they put 1960s technology in a 2013 pickup?"
That's actually a really good question. If there is a 6.4 Hemi, I really can't imagine it will be around that long. There's a reason that Ford used direct inject turbo technology. It was because of mileage and emissions. Dodge can only use old technology for so long before they'll be forced to use direct inject/turbos.

Don't blame it on spell check. You have the chance to preview it. Without the 426 being so legendary, the Hemi name would mean nothing. Every single top fuel dragster uses an engine based on the original Hemi design because of the success of the 426.

Be ready to pull out the pocket book when you put in turbos, you know that's putting a lot of stress on a v6. Not to mention its a v6. Doesn't even sound mean

No, the videos proof, dodge has a smaller engine that will out run a ford or Chevy, mopar or no car. Someday you'll see the bright side.

i dont think anybody has claimed the hemi doesnt have any power, if so they havent driven one, i think what there claiming is it doesnt have as much low end torque as the diesel, which it doesnt, the hemi makes its power up higher in the rpm band, while its nice to see a hemi back in a production vehicle,im not a blown away fan, as i once owned a car with the legendary 426, and i know what that did, the new ones just dont have the mystique the 426 did, now i admit some of that was the scary factor, having 500 hp,[ any car guy back in the day could easily have a street hemi making 500 hp in a saturday parts swap/tune session] in a car with 1960's chassis knowledge made for a wild ride,as anybody who had one of those can attest, as to why they dont put the engine back out in production cars today, the answer is the epa, the 426 was not a clean air, great mpg engine, it was a go fast engine, a job it did so well that the design dominates motorsports to this day however the government isnt going to sanction anything like the original 426 today for a street production car, of course there still out there via the hot rod builders lol

Why do people have this terrible fear of turbos? How often do they actually go out. I've never regretted have a tractor with a turbo because it may have to be replaced at some point. Why is it alot of stress on a V-6? The 3.7 V-6 shares the block with the 3.5, only it's bored out. The 3.5 also has different heads designed to take the extra stress. And then there's the people that freaking out about how unreliable the 'high-pressure' injection is. It's less than 10% of the pressure of CR diesel systems.

Diesels are made for turbos, not little bitty 3.6s. V6s are for girls or soccer moms espicially the ecoboosts. Most half tons never do any work, there like a mini van. I'm an American, and like the v8 sound and power, I don't like v6s, that's what they run over seas. This is America, and we run v8s, in cars and trucks not v6s.

Come take a ride in my Neighbor's eco-boost, with a free flowing exhaust. It is a extended cab 4X4. And it really pulls hard! Vic

And it still sounds like a v6, come take a ride in my hemi. Has a nice v8 rumble, its a 2500 and is a lot more truck. And pulls like a diesel with the 4:56 gears, the ecoboost s ain't gonna come close to it.

Not to mention. I won't have any repair bills on the hemi either, the ecoboost will tear a hole in your pocket, wait a few years or 100,000+ miles. Your neighbor will be regretting buying it.
