Thinking of buying a brush hog ,not finishing mower for my wd 45 wf. How wide you folks go 5' 6'or what will she handle . Once had a 5 ' J.D with a 1" thick blade but traded it for a potato digger -- that was a huge mistake

Thanks

try a 6 foot, it should be fine and will cut the width of tires. This will give a cleaner cut and better looks

I have a hopped up WD Late model with bent shifter, and it spins the 6' cutter all day long.

A WD45 is 45HP and will handle a 6 footer all day long. If in thinner stuff it will handle a 7 footer just fine
