Boss bought a plasma cutter with the mig welder for his new shop. Wouldn"t cut anything, started blowing breakers. Our mechanic opened it up and switched it to run off 220, and almost cut the vice in half with it.

I saw an Acklands rep. doing his first demo of a plasma torch and almost cut his finger off. He had his left hand on the table and pushed the trigger on the torch not realizing Plasma was instant. Missed his finger but I think he got a real eye opener after that and quite possibly soiled his shorts! LoL

I haven't tried it yet, don't have any projects coming yet that I can see needing it for.
