On tractor forum “DeltaRed” wanted you to show your grain trucks. On Case forum I’ll ask these questions. Should be on Classic Trucks but my trucks haul from fields planted with Case tractors
How old were you and first truck you drove in harvest , also How many and how many years for harvest for trucks through the years.
My Truck list—1924 Packard limo made into a truck, 1929 Model A truck, 1937 Chev pu, 1929 Ford model A pu, 1936 Chev. Truck, The 47 Reo, 49 Dodge , 74 Chev 60, and 78 IH all bought new. The Chev. 60 has now about 35,000 and the IH has 20,342 as of today. I started at age nine in 1944. Drove in all harvests to date.70 years. Was in the harvest fields since I was three. Dad put me in the bin to level it at that time.
Tried to put all pictures in, but forum wouldn’t allow it. Put some in a few at a time.

Picture of 47 Reo in 1949 with 1948 Massey 21A combine on it . We also farmed 70 mi south at Otis Co . We hauled it and another Massey on the 49 Dodge for about 5 years.

Awesome pictures Jimmy. Thanks for posting! I remember the 1st grain truck I drove was a 47 Ford with the flathead that always sounded so different when you started it. Double clutching comes to mind. Don |

Run a gen. for a headlight. On the picture of 1938 you will see a headlight by the radiator. On picture of L with Dad and Me in cab he had just painted it and did not have the headlight back on.
