This message is a reply to an archived post by RRIL on March 22, 2010 at 08:29:26.
The original subject was "1929 C Casegreen paint?".

Hoping someone can help me out. I recently purchased a Case C tractor to restore and I'm trying to figure out the year and correct paint color. The color is currently a dark grey and the serial # is 308256. Thanks

If thatss the correct serial number its a 29. First and fourth numbers and subtract 3 = 29. 32 - 3.

Take a look at this Dupont's 27625 paint code to see if it's too dark. Hal

Both the L and C plus variations were LC Grey. You could still get it a year or so ago at your local CASE-IH dealer a case at a time as LC Grey.
