Got a part number?

I'm not clear as to what bearing you are talking about......

Front wheel bearings (2, inner & outer) or spindle bushings or the actual spindle bearing, p/n 3123-B

I'm talking about the actual spindle bearing. I have new bushings and seal but I'm not sure about the bearing. The part number is Conn3123B. Thanks

I'm less familiar with the Ns than I am the later fords.
But since the same thrust bearing fits all the smaller Fords from 1948-1964 I'm sure it does not press in. It's just a slip fit.
They do get rusted and mashed in there and can be hard to get out. If you are having trouble getting the old one out I would try it first with a good cold chisel and see what you can do that way. Otherwise it's time to break out the smoke wrench.
When you reinstall the new one the cover of the bearing goes to the top - so it sheds any water that might leak down into there.

Ultradog, that makes sense as far as shedding water, but will the bearing still be able to get some grease?

(I'm doing the same thing on a Fergy, and the old bearings were toast - rusted, corroded, seized, etc.)

Tom,
That's a good question.
I don't have an FO-4 manual but I do have the FO-20, FO-31 and FO-41 all of which cover the same style of spindles and none of which cover which direction of that bearing. It probably doesn't matter but I always installed them with the cover down to prevent water from getting in there.
And, I can't see how any grease could sneak it's way into that bearing as it would come out from the top of the spindle and the bottom of the spindle first.
But I will throw your question out to the board as I can not speak with certainty.

They cant get any grease. They do carry the weight of the tractor. They tend to last as long as the bushings in cars and trucks. They are grease packed when new.
