Owner"s manual and Tractor Data say this model has Kohler single cylinder. Mine was bought new by me, and it has the 2 cyl 20 hp engine. Anyone else have one? Maybe the factory run out of the single and installed the twin to keep the assy. line running? The LT 1046 has the twin, maybe mine has the wrong decal.

Might be an engine from the 1046(?). It's not unknown among Cub fans to swap engines around! Might post your question over at OnlyCubCadets dot com. Lots of knowledgable folks there.
