I habe a 3 wire alternator from a 1981 chevy I want to install on my super c equipted wit a amp gage .
Anyone out there with a diagram to wire this application up?
Please advise ,

To use the wiring diagram shown here you have to have a socket for the bulb that has insulated base. Also the alternator will not start to charge if the bulb burns out.

I used that diagram when I did the conversion on my SC and it worked well. Only thing I did different was use a coil with an internal ballest resistor so that saved one thing sitting in the way.
