Friend is looking for a late model 870 engine balancer. He needs the 2 gear type and has a good 3 gear type for the earlier model for trade. Any one know of one laying around looking for a new home?

What happened to his original balancer? If the gears are not messed up we have had a machine shop install new bushings.

I'm not sure. This guy would certainly have done that if it was possible, I'm sure.

Gary, I'll pass your number along to him.

Thanks!

Id agree with the above post, and also if the shaft itself is worn, a shop with a crank grinder should be able to sprayweld the shaft back to size. We do the JD balancers at work that way. Although, weve also seen them come in with cracks in them.
