I have removed the bolt on the inside of the bull gear on my 300U, but cannot get the axle to free up from the bull gear. I have went thru the rear PTO, I have the axle housing loose as well.

Any advice? - this axle bearing replacement is about the win...................................

Put bolt back in end of axle, no washer, and place something between that bolt head and bolt on other axle and turn axle or bolt to force it apart. Just be darn sure you have all bolts out of everything.

I have tried that with a piece of 3/4 steel rod, still no luck. I don't think I am missing any bolts. There is only the one inside the rear end correct?

Then the bolts on the axle housing I have out.

Any others or other tricks

reattach the out side (axle) housing and try pete 23's method again. the wieght if the hub, axle and housing may be binding on the inside bearing

Sometimes one of the outside bolts will be buried in grease. I
would check the outside again for bolts that are still there if pete
23's method did not work for you.
