I know where the nicest looking 570 diesel I've seen in person sets. That being said, it hasn't ran in 5+/- years and the crank case is full of diesel. The old man that restored it has passed and he had told people that the last time he drove it, it lost all oil pressure, so he shut it down and towed it home. What could I be dealing with hear and what would be a fair offer if she calls my bluff? I'm assuming the injection pump needs rebuilt and maybe an overhaul. Are parts available at reasonable prices for these? It is very sharp, nice metal paint and tires. No 3pt. Wide front. |

I don't know if they have a lift pump or not. If they do, that could be the culprit. I would sure drop the pan and have a look see, and check the oil pump & drive.

The gear pump may need a seal, PK7910, or a cross reference#. Very few parts around for the PSB pump, but gaskets and seals are still available. I resealed one this summer on a 570 Super that had fuel in oil, head seals and gear pump were all leaking. |

Hi Nick,
We have the shaft seal for the Am. Bosch inj. pump transfer pump shaft (T-12323) and oil pumps (new and used) on stock for the DD298 engine.
