Can't figure out how come the wheels will not spin out. Followed the directions from the owners manual to loosen the double ramp clamps, everything seems ready yet will not budge. No rust, even jacked it up and tried to rotate. Am I missing some kind of clamp. Any ideas, My old allis looked the same and had no problems with it.

Could you post a picture of the rim and clamps and rails as there are several different styles that were used and I don't want to tell you something wrong. Also are the rail locks off? Bandit

There are eight rails, two of the rails have the holes with double ramp clamps, to hold the cast wheel in the desired place, those have been removed. All that remains are the slide clamps that should just move along the rails. will get pictures next time I run out to the farm. thanks

You need a book but if I remember right you need to loosen 4 of those side clamps and they must be in a row.

Like John said, you will need to loosen at least 2 to 4 slide clamps to lessen the rail pressure for them to slide. That's how I do it on the other colors we have. Try to re-tighten them evenly after you moved the rim to the desired position.

If they are like the ones in the picture loosen 5 of the champs and leave the 3 on the bottom tight. Move forward or back (witch ever way you want the wheel to move ) and lock the opposite wheels brake till you get ware you want. Move the tractor forward or back to get the 3 tight clamps back on the bottom then tighten the other 5 back up and put the rail locks back on. Piece of cake! (its never that easy but it should be). Thanks for the responses. The picture is exactly exactly what my wheels look like. Should be able to get them moved now.
