maibachs creston, OH 800-808-9934

Decent prices but even more important you will get the right parts and good quality.
Nobody knows 310s better in my opinion.

Very, very, expensive

Jobbersinc want $980 for a complete kit incl cam and pin bushings.
how is that compare to Tractorjoe with $1300+ Agkits.com with $1200+ and YT with $1500 for same kit, no cam and pin bushings. Wink

Wow! I stand corrected. When I needed parts for a 320 and 135 I needed some lube just for the quote. Lol

Make sure they are apples to apples...

Nope. Nothing cheaper than $1600. I canned that project and sold the motor. Staying with a 310 or 320 based engine with deck plate in the future. Cheapest way to get the big cubes is a red diamond or a MM. I chose the MM.

What brand is the kit? I've had very bad luck with cheap aftermarket parts and engine kits. the last 3 cost me 3x more in the end. The last 310 I rebuilt got Arrow sleeves and pistons, agco gaskets, agco lifters and clevite bearings. I have that engine together but have not run it yet. 1st time I have not had any defective parts.

Good question.

I asked about that but the parts man could not tell me for certain.
He did garanty all parts however and said they had had no complaints yet(standard remark whoever one buys from anyway:roll:)

My biggest problem right now is finding a good cam shaft and lifters for a decent price.
I found 3 shafts so far and all 3 had 1 or more bad lobes.
Wrecker closest to me(220 ml) has one still in the engine,($600,.. come dig it out yourself, no garanty it is good! WTF Rolling Eyes)
Other wrecker 300+ ml away has one for $250 but same thing, still in tractor,.. customer removes it himself or a $400 charge if they do it. Shocked

The cam i have is a 221623 but does not have the c
after the #. Not sure what the c indicates? I had it
checked and pollished a few years ago but never used
it. 507 2767233
