I have a problem with the hand clutch on my CA. Its the second time I need to replace it in ten years. I was wondering if there is a way to eliminate the hand clutch all together with a straight shaft. I don't use it anyway. Any help would be great thanks

If you get a CA left axle and brake drum, that will fit the right side.

What Ted said, plus, some weld it together. Personally, I wouldn"t, cuz to me it is such an improvement over the Model C.

If you do take it out don"t throw it away. If you plan on selling the tractor in the future it will be worth more with the parts included or sell them her. People are always looking for hand clutch parts.

We have a pulling tractor, we used some grade 8 bolts and bolted it together, we never had a problem and nothing damaged.
