Wow, do I ever love this old beast!

Yeah, I know it's 31 years old, but those old red things don't care 'bout years. :>)

Got the old sister from my dealer buddy who just simply gave me a fantastic deal.

Has weak power steering, but after fiddlin' with 'er off and on for a month now, I finally got a handle on the problem part. Needs another double-gear pump because someone left out the bypass valve/screen at the filter and wiped out the pump.

Bother in law was related to the late owner and gave me the full skinny on the tractor.

Pretty darned proud of 'er and she's a keeper! :>)

Feel like I have post-partium depression this morning. After fightin' for so long trying to figure it out, now nothing to do. :>(

However, now I gotta find the wife a third job to pay for that expensive pump! LOL!

Hi John,

No, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Besides, my dealer REALLY takes care of me. Bought it on the cheap.

Well worth the cost of the pump. I wish there was a way to rebuild pumps economisally. Re surfacing the gear housing, and spray welding the rotors to match. If it could be automated, I think there would be a market. I am glad the analysis worked. Jim

Yeah, I know it's 'bout time for a disc trade. Two wheel drive will pull a 32 foot?

That's a lot of disc.
