This is 1949 8N with a snowblower and a cyclone cab. With twin engines. A stock 8N in front and a flathead V8 (100hp)in the rear powering the snowblower. There were approximately 270 of them manufactured out of canada. This is the last tractor adventure me(Loren)and my dad (PALMER FOSSUM)had. (Aug of 2007).

WOW! There is an area an hour north of me in NY where they get alot of snow off Lake Ontario - 2-300 in/yr. That would be handy up there. Thanks for sharing the picture and Happy New Year.

WOW! That's neat. Next time someone asks about using a snowblower with an 8N, I will give them a link to this.

That's probably the only 8N that no one ever said was too fast for a snow blower.

Sweet! Wonder how many more of the 270 still exist and how many of the ones that do are in that kind of shape?

We have owned it since 07 and we have taken it
too many shows and 2 Ford national shows!
talked to the Ford/Fordson national collections
Association!! and they have not seen or heard of
any other ones. so right now this is the only one!
but who knows what people have stashed in the
barnes. There are a couple copycats out so if
anyone knows of anyone that has one please let
us know!
