Tractor: MF1100 with engine # 354UA29153
I am looking for water freeze plug on back on block that is above crankshaft about 8 inches. The hole is 1.852 inch dia. The old plug height was approx 7/16 inch and was a stainless type of material.
I have checked with two MF dealers and have not had any success in obtaining a good plug. I did get a plug(MF #747854M1) that is same size as hole. One Perkins dealer sent me a plug too small.
Does anyone have a good part number for this plug?

Just looked on Agco Parts, No listing of your plug size. Show 735 865 M1, 1 1/4 and 735 869 M1 1 1/2 inch size. Have you tried NAPA, they have plugs listed in the older engine parts books.

Have you tried one of the expanding rubber frost plugs?

I have tried NAPA, CARQUEST, Orielys, two different Perkins dealers, and two MF tractor dealers.
Rubber plug in not a good fit because hole is just above clutch and is under upper edge of adapter plate.

I did find out that MF #747854M1 is the replacement. Its height is about half of orginal plug. See pics of this plug.
