My neighbor brought over an 1100 for me to work on and says he has no hydralics, brakes or steering and this happend all at once with no warning, I have never worked on a massy just IH. Do these tractors have a live drive shaft driven off the pressure plate like an International? Thanks for any help.

Is the unloading lever under your feet as you sit all the way down, is the linkage okay?

Yes, they do have a drive shaft running directly off the crankshaft/flywheel that operates the pto and charge pump. As mentioned earlier, check the unloader valve first. If the unloader is down and the problem persists, check the hydraulic filter on the bottom of the transmission, and the filter in front of the radiator. If all looks good, check the charge pump pressure.

The charge pump drive has a splined coupler at the flywheel that can strip out, and another shaft coupler at rear of trans case to diff case joint. If either one is bad you will lose the charge pump, and there is no easy way to see which one has failed.

Hi
Might be wrong here but I thought if you loose all hyds and pto it could be flywheel coupling to pump drive/pto shaft.
If rear trans to diff housing pto coupling goes you only loose pto drive to back and everything else works still with the charge pump feeds.

Think that's how the 1135 works and aren't they basically the same pile with a few modifications and a different badge!

The charge pump is driven by PTO clutch drum which is driven by a shorter shaft. The front of this shaft has a coupler to connect with the longer front shaft. When either the coupler or flywheel coupler fail the PTO drum no longer drives the charge pump, and it's still a guess as to which on is bad.

thanks guys for the replies, I guess when it gets warmer Ill have dig in to it, altho not real exited about it! Guess ill have to be more spacific when I say ill only work on red tractors.
