I ran across a 400 farmall today and it was a factory T/A delete and only had two remote levers on the console instead of three. Would this kind of set up be fairly rare? Or not really? I've always seen them with a T/A even tho I know that a delete was an option but I've never seen one with less than three remotes. This one is completely stuck, engine and gear shifter won't move, but the tin work is beautiful as are the emblems and tach. And the seat is tight. I'd like to pick it up if I can. Going to work on it this weekend. Thanks.

Many of the Farmall 300 and 400 series, when ordered with standard drawbar (no fast hitch) had only two hydraulic levers. If the tractor has/would have been ordered with, a fast hitch, one of the levers was used to operate the hitch.

There a few out there, but not many. A good friend has a 400 that is both TA and lpto delete and only one hydralic lever/valve. It is basicly an M in 400 'clothes'.

So does it not have hydraulics in the back?

I wouldn't think the reduced hydraulics or the lack of TA would make it worth more. Probably less, and definitely less useful. If it is a stuck as you say it is, I would be hesitant to buy it for anything other than the sheet metal. There are a lot of 400's or 450's out there that run good for cheap. You could have a lot of money into that tractor in a hurry, and more than its ever going to be worth. Unless it has sentimental value, just buy the tin and find a running 400. JMO.

I have one sitting in the yard that's T/A delete, standard PTO and no PS. I think it has three levers on the hydraulics. Runs ok but has a bombed rear tire.

The tin work and a few other odds and ends is all I'm really
after as I have another 400 in fine mechanical shape but with a
few dings that I'd like to finish up. Was just surprised at he no
T/A 2 remote thing. Never seen one like that.
