Hello
I just mounted à new hi lo clutch
And. When i shift to high the gear goes in LO
And When i shift to LO the gear is goding to high
So My shift pantern isnt right anymore
I have never driven the traktor before because i baught it
When it was broken.
Any ideas? |

Your 2 speed shaft in 180 degrees off. You can split it to fix it, or grind the weld off of the tab on the outside of the shaft, turn it 180 degrees and reweld it. I've done it several times on pulling tractors to modify the linkages. |

But the tab is pointing downwards. That should be right?
Or should it point up? |

on ours, when the tab is at 8 o'clock, it's in 3rd, and at 7 o'clock it's in 4th

are you sure you have a 4440 2 speed? They were a direct-overdrive. The 4440, 4450, 4455, were the only ones to use the direct-overdrive. The replacement gears for the planetary on the s speeds are a helical cut gear, whereas the original 4440's were straight cut gears.
The rest of the 2 speeds were underdrive-direct like the 4030, 4230, 4430, 4630, 4040, 4240, 4640 used.
A 4430 2 speed installed in a 4440 would slow it down, and the gears would shift backwards. |
