The series is called the 601 Work Master. There have been a few threads about them on here. Plenty of questions about the right way to paint them. I have an eight page brochure about construction use that features actual color photos. There are plenty of pictures of them in the galleries on this site.

*51 models are common.. as are 601 series machines.

MOST of the 00/01 series are common untill you get into the *1-2-3* models.

did you have a specific question?

The 641 was by far and away the most common model in the 601 series but 651, 661, 671 and 681 do exist.

I've got a 631 which was originally was a 4 speed, no pto. It's got one now. It was originally a state tractor (made in 62) with a belly mower. I figure they bought a cheaper tractor to get it through budget, and them expensed the p.t.o. out to run the belly mower. Creative accounting.
I told a long time counter guy at an old Ford dealership what I had and he looked at me puzzled and said, I've never seen a 631!!
