At one time I owned 3 1086"s.

Bought the first new in 78. Bought my uncles 81 1086 with 1400 hours in 1995.

Then when dad died in 99 I bought a 1086 with MFD to replace the 986 of dads that we sold to settle things.

Thought I would buy the 986 but it brought more at the auction than I wanted to pay.

I have 2 560"s now. Bought a diesel to replace the gasser that I am going to sell. Dad had 2 different 560"s in the 60"s.

Knew a guy just a couple years ago who had over 30 Ford 6000's.... Some were parts tractors but most ran. He'd leave them in the fields and just bring the equipment to them with his truck. One broke down and he'd go get another, sometimes leaving the other one there for a few years before he got around to bringing it home to fix it.

Seemed to work for him

No doubles at the moment, but have had some in the past.... 2 Farmall H's, 2 D-14 Allis Chalmers, 2 M John Deeres, 6 B John Deeres, those are the multiples I can think of at the moment.

I bought a M in 2002 it had a 9 speed and a trip bucket loader, sold it in 2007 to help finance my 706 which I really needed for loader work. After selling it I wished I hadn't, but I bought another M in 2012 for half what I sold the other for, it is now dedicated to running the brush mower until I find another piece of equipment I must have.

By your post title I thought you were asking how many "Same" (foreign brand) tractors were made. Then I read your post! I"m on my second D17, but in hobby tractors my multiples are: 4 WD, 2 WD45 (missed a cheapie last week), 2 RC, 3 WC. The other 6 are singles.

Read the title and thought he was going to ask about Same branded tractors.

Started reading his post and thought he was talkin about liking his wife. The Ms.

Oh boy, I need to go to bed......

We owned 2 Ford 960s at th same time.

Dad owned 1/2 of an F20, an H and a 300 all at the same time, same tractor just newer models. (The F20 had a mounted picker on it, was shared with his brother.)

I've got some "doubles"

2 Farmall C's one widefront the other a narrow

2 460 Diesels. I didn't need the 2nd one until I saw the price, then I definitely needed it. Turns out it is kinda nice having 2 of the same, these tractors get used on the haybine, v rake and small square baler. They sure run cheap. I also have a 400 Farmall gas.

2 "7's" a 706 Gasser and a 756 Diesel. These get used mostly on the round baler.

I've also got 2 New Holland square balers, a 270 and a 276.

2 New Holland hsybines, a 479 and a 489.

I just traded in my 2 similiar trucks for a new one, they were a 2003 Crew Cab Chevy and a 2007 Crew Cab, both pretty similiar. the 2003 was a 1500HD, the 2007 was a regular 1/2 ton.

Not sure why I end up with the doubles, I'm ok with it though, kinda neat I guess.
