I bought an old Oliver 88 from a guy down in Indiana a few years back. I just got it running again. It doesn't have a serial number tag on it, so I don't know what year it is. The number 190320 is stamped on the engine, with K100c just below it. Is that enough to go by in finding the year?

There's a casting code on the bottom of the rear end, that'll tell when the casting was poured at least.
Don't remember right now if it's month/day/year or day/month/year.

On that block there are small differences as well as in te rest of the tractor. Does it have 4 bolt pad by the distribtor for a Hobbs hour meter? Where did you look for the serial number tag as that changed laterin 1952. does it have a hydraulic unit?

It doesn't have an hour meter place. It does have hydraulics, but it doesn't have a ridge on the frame just under the side panels, so I'm guessing 51-54.

It was made before the spring of 52. If it has disk brakes pull the cover off and see if there is a nut inside the center of the bull pinion gear.
