Just wondering just picked up a starter weight for 45 bucks .i dont think its a standard oliver weight i thought it might have been called wolfram ? Anybody have info on them ? I had something like that years ago and it seems to me it was lighter about 20 years ago. thanks

Except for the real late ones Oliver weights will have a six digit casting number with the sufix letter A.

Sounds like a foundry weight to me- just two holes in it with no threads?

Your right its got the slots for the stack weights plus the bolt holes
