Some might remember me asking questions about an M quitting from time to time. Clean tank and filter in the carburetor. I just put gas in it and when I unscrewed the gas cap it spewed from pressure. Should the gas tank be under some pressure? The gas cap says release slowly, pressure. Or something similar. Thanks, Ellis

Cap should vent pressure. If plugged it can also cause negative pressure in tank when running and not allow fuel to flow to carburetor.

You've got the wrong gas cap. It needs to be a vented cap.
