This is a tribute to Ray Hoffstetter's dad, Edward Hofstetter. Ray said, "Dad loved to follow the happenings on YT, the pictures and videos."

(If you've followed Ray's posts on YT, you will know that his dad, Edward, lived life to the fullest, almost to his final day. To me, Ray's posts about doing things with his dad and his photos showing his dad on his tractor are a testament to a loving father/son relationship.)

Edward's obituary follows the photographs...

Edward A. Hofstetter, age 92, passed away June 13, 2016. Born on August 27, 1923, in Granger Township, Ohio, Edward was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. as an airplane mechanic. He was employed by Highland School District as a Building Manger for over 20 years until his retirement.

Preceded in death by his wife, Walburga ?Burgie?; sister, Freida Swain (the late Dave); and brother, Daniel (the late Mary).
Survived by sons, Robert Lewandowski (Regina), Ray Hofstetter (Millie); brothers, Thomas (the late Marilyn) of Wadsworth, Robert of Granger, Raymond (Diana) of Wadsworth; sister, Norma Becker (the late Charles) of Granger; grandchildren, Heidi Covan (Burl) and Troy Lewandowski (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Brooke, Brandy, Trenton and Ty.

Per Edward?s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio at a later date.
