MM made LP from 1941 till 1974. Am sure Lp was available on all models. Many serial numbers were under gas and not separated.

There is a picture of one in either Chester Petersen or Rod Beemer's book. The book I am thinking of came out in the 90s.

M-M did make a few ZB LPG tractors. Had a neighbor that bought one new, a neat looking set up. No idea what happened to it after many years.
It is true about M-M not separating some gas models from L P G tractors in the serial no. lists. I have a 5 star, standard, factory L P G, with the ser.# mixed in with the gasoline models.

Yes, they were. Mine is a 1953 model. It is equipped with a Sears and Roebuck front end loader.

As others have mentioned, the LP gas models were serial numbered with the gasoline models, so no telling how many of each were made. Mine is #315 of 957 ZBUs made in 1953.

I think they offered LP in 1953 on the G, UB, ZB, and ZAS models. If I remember correctly I saw a piece of literature on them.

The tag on my tractor is evenly rusted just to the point that I can't make out any of the data on it. Sure wish I could read it!!

That's even more rare than a ZB LP. You have a ZA LP. I have one of those also, but mine is just a parts tractor. It was stuck and had the head off when I got it.
