Whats to most you guys would pay for a B? New tires, new paint after market 3pt. All gone through. Serial number puts it about 1948. 819xx. Found a B but the guy says to make an offer

It looks good and if work done properly and enough it might be 1500-2000 tops ,but start low. You can always go up.

A "top dollar" tractor would not be leaking oil. The owner knows exactly how much he wants. Ask the owner what his definition of "all gone through" is. Pretty paint covers a lot of issues. Offer him half of what you think it's worth and go from there. No more than $1000 tops. But it depends how much you want it. Be careful.

just curious where you see an oil leak? Either way its a no-go because he thinking somewhere close to $3k. So I keep looking............

Front of the engine under the Gov housing. Not supposed to be black there. I'd say 1500. 3 grand is probably what he has in it.

For practical use the 3pt on a B ain't hitting on much, $1000 is top $$$ in my opinion and with an oil leak I wouldn't get close to offering that much.

Might be my computer screen, but blow the picture up, and it appears that the torque tube has bleeding marks from the battery and who knows
what else. A properly painted tractor shouldn't show that, just thinking to myself.
About $1800 to $2000 is where I am at... but an in person view might show a variance to that.
