All,

I recently had an uncharacteristic bad experience with Wenger's. They made a mistake and shipped my order to an incorrect address - it was not my shipping or billing address, it was an old address form a few years ago. They tell me its now up to me to go locate the
package and retrieve it.

I'd be interested to hear other's experiences. I am also a little embarrassed because I just recommended them on this forum.

Bill

My one purchase from them worked out just fine, but I only had a single address on file with them.

Wenger's did just refund my money after I filed a dispute with PayPal.

I've bought 3 items from them.
One about 8 years ago - a steering part for a 3400. Normal transaction, no problems with shipping.
This fall I needed a steering arm off a 3500. He said the price was $250.
I said, "Wow thats high."
He said , "Yeah, that part has been on our shelves for a lot of years. How bout I sell it to you for $120?"
"Sold!"
I bought another 3500 steering part about a month later.
Both of the recent transactions were good - no problems at all.

was it shipped postal service? if it was it should have been returned to wenger's as your time limit for forwarding ran out or maybe the folks at your old address just decided to keep it.

My prior experiences with them have been good, but this was different. Everyone screws up once in a while.

I bought a countershaft for a jubilee from
them. Also some transmission gears for a
JD model A. It all went just fine.

My experience has been OK. They shipped me the wrong part as it was tagged wrong. They refunded me for the whole deal and it was fine (they didn't have the right part). As far as pricing I think they are high as a kite so I try to avoid them at all costs.

They are high, but they have the part on a shelf ready to ship instead of in a few weeks when the weather has been good. I bought a pair of 20.8x38 tires once. I dropped the tires and tractor off at GCR and a few hours later I got a call telling me that one had a bad hole in it. We had not seen it when I picked them up because the lights were dim due to the cold. GCR couldn't section it. I called Wengers and they refunded my money no problem.
