Quite possibly all from the same supplier. Atlantic or Sparex.

Many ways to add a link, one is to type the URL tags in brackets fore and aft like:

Code:
[url]https://www.ebay.com/itm/8N9600B-Air-Cleaner-for-Ford-Tractors-8N-2N-9N/322269928968?epid=11003004667&hash=item4b08c8de08:g:D98AAOSwWxNYsI96[/url]

Which would appear as:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/8N9600B-Air-Cleaner-for-Ford-Tractors-8N-2N-9N/322269928968?epid=11003004667&hash=item4b08c8de08:g:D98AAOSwWxNYsI96

Or to add a shorter text to the link:

Code:
[url=https://www.ebay.com/itm/8N9600B-Air-Cleaner-for-Ford-Tractors-8N-2N-9N/322269928968?epid=11003004667&hash=item4b08c8de08:g:D98AAOSwWxNYsI96]RAP[/url]

Which would appear as: RAP

There are also buttons on the posting page to add the tags for you.
They take longer to click than it takes to type them as far as I'm concerned.

I just purchased an air cleaner for my MG202. It's an oil bath cleaner very similar to the 8N cleaner. I purchased it from this YT site. There were some things I didn't like about it but I was able to adapt it and finally get it into my MF202. It had a few things different from the original.

Here is a link to my story on it if you want to read it.

I should add that I removed the old cleaner on my 8N and cleaned it and replaced the mesh on the inside which you can also purchase here.

My 8N's air cleaner was a lot easier to remove and replace than the MF202. The 202 is just designed with stuff crammed into tight places and not easy to work on.

You shouldn't have any problem putting a new cleaner on your "N" tractor. The YT one should do the job just fine.

Here's the deal about most new parts nowadays. Many are cheaply reproduced in Cheena, with no licensing sanctioned by Ford, and 99.98% of the time simply 'reverse-engineered' by some flunky that closely resembles the original. That is why they have fit and function issues. There's no Quality Control. Now, Dennis Carpenter is licensed by Ford to reproduce many of the original parts and owns or leases much of the original tooling and machines from ford. Many other parts are reproduced on tooling he paid for to reproduce exact-as-original. Many of his parts are also sold by every other Ford Tractor parts supplier today, only they mark up the price, often 15%-20%. It matters where you buy. Now, since there isn't a huge market for new Ford Tractor parts, many are foreign made as described above by less than a handful of manufacturers and distributed to anyone who wants to sell them. Your question on which is the better quality part cannot be sufficiently answered simply by pictures. I would need to have the parts in front of me to examine up close the quality of material, the quality of machining, and the closeness to original detail. I always use the original parts wherever I can; they were engineered by Ford so the average farmer/man could rebuild/repair them in his shop/barn.
