as you see all works good up till here. clutch shaft turns freely. shifts into gear easily but will not move the tractor?

When you say the clutch shaft turns freely you mean you can take hold of the shaft and turn it without pushing the clutch petal down? If so the hub is broke out of the clutch drive disk.

sorry I should explain it better than I did, the engine is now disconnected from the trans. it would not move the tractor in any gear. however it worked fine up till the power booster then nothing from there back. I now have taken the power booster out of the equation. when turning the trans shaft by hand with tractor in gear the shaft spins freely. so something is wrong inside. can I take the ft aluminum cover off the trans housing or will open up a complete can of worms? thanks for any help.
