Hello, I'm looking for a Transtar II eagle cabover. Seems like farmers have all the cool old stuff hiding in their buildings. I'm also looking for a specific one like the one pictured, if you have one or know of any, any info would be appreciated. THANKS

It is not likely to be what your looking for but I have an old IH cab over truck. Had a345 engine in it and 4 speed with 2 speed rear end

If it is a 1960's or early 70's truck (quite likely with the 345), then it is probably the Cargostar model. A buddy has one. It is a strange beast. His has the 4 speed on the steering column. The later ones at least had a hydraulic jack system for lifting the cab, the early ones had springs. The cab tilts forward similar to the cabover Ford C600 or C800. The 345 V8 was used in a lot of Loadstar farm trucks and thousands of school buses.

I have no idea the year of this one but it does have the hyd jack set up to tilt the cab. At one time I had thought about removing the hyd jack part of it to make a port-a-power out of it but just never got around to it

IHMMJD, welcome to YT! To post a picture when first becoming a member here you will need to ask permission. Go down to the "Site Comments" board and title the post "Attention Kim photo posting Permission". This just keeps folks with poor intentions from posting a bunch of "bad" pics on a family orientated site. You also need to use the "Advanced Posting Tools" in the lower portion of the posting window. There is also a free classified add section here you could post a want add there. As far as the old "Classic Binder" CO's I haven't seen many up here in MN, probably to many "rust worms". I think there are a few still hanging about in my home state of KS. Probably help if you posted what state you are in, not a cheap item to haul around the country.

I know what you are looking for, but have no idea where to find one. That Eagle cab was probably as nice as they came.

Probably the file size of photo is two large. Needs to be under 300K. Sorry I?m no expert on resizing photos on a pc, I?ve think you need a program to do it. I just figured out how to do it on my iPhone in a round about way through email.

You may have talked to them. Did they talk back? If not, then you need to wait until they do before you can post a picture. Otherwise make a few more posts and the ability will be unlocked automatically.

Since it was New Year's weekend, and Sunday, my guess is that staff wasn't around. They might pick it up today.
