Tecumseh use to offer crankshaft shims. But I have not been able to find them in years.

You can get crank shims for Briggs racing engines fairly cheap.

Check with Mile High PowerSports for 555652 Crankshaft Endplay Shims

or

Rieken's Racing for Part# '555652'.

Cant say if they will work. But with them being cheap for a set. I would not hurt to try.

You can still download the manual for older Tecumseh engines from several websites.
It includes overhaul procedures and specifications.
