For those of you that don't get or look at face book, I wanted to share a post made by NATPA President about the Okla Winter Nationals.

OKLAHOMA WINTER NATIONALS at THE RIVER BEND ARENA
23 hrs ?

My phone and computer has being going crazy after this big weekend of tractor pulling with people wanting to know what my thoughts were about the pull held in Oklahoma. Well - Let me put it this way. Come hell or high water; I?m going to do everything in my power to work out a deal with Mr Herx and Mr. Grossman to have a NATPA pull at this location with this group of fine people involved for our next season. Probably one of the best pulls I have ever been to for antique tractor pulling. I was proud to see so many NATPA members representing and supporting this new pull. It was also nice to final meet people in person that I have spoken with on the phone or on social media. If you finished in the top 5 of your class that weekend you should be very proud of what you had achieved. Also special thanks to all involved with the St Judes Tractor. Very nice piece for a very good cause. Also special thanks to Cody Meister and Ray Tellin for bringing it (and me) to the pull that weekend. Everything about the pull has now set a new standard which is going to be very hard to match. So hats off to the Oklahoma Nationals on a fantastic weekend and very impressive pull.
NATPA President Bob Mike Deberg

Blaine Griggs I've been around tractor pulling since 1964 and I will say that it was a very well run pull with a great arena to have it in..

Sounds great,we all enjoy a well ran pull, sorry I missed it,but it is very hard to get motivated when it is below ten degrees and with all the flu and head and chest colds around. Planning on a trip this spring.

The Oklahoma crew is pretty darn good. They do a bang-up job with the outdoor Green Country group through the year and I'm glad to see folks from other states get to see them in action. Its a fun time with some welcoming and hospitable folks out there, and I'm ashamed that I got tied to the desk and couldn't make it out there. I'll be there in 2019.
