Hi.
I thought i have a Tea20 but after speaking to an old boy today he thinks it may be a Ted 20 is there an easy way of telling the difference between the 2?
Mine has no serial plate. It was made on the 1st March 1950. Has a standard motor co engine and is 6 volt petrol/tvo.

TEA is petrol only. TED is dual fuel, so the gas tank will have two drains and a switchable fuel filter. There should be a heat shield over the manifold. The head gasket should be much thicker than normal to reduce the compression.

Let me guess. You are not in North America, are you? TED's are very rare here.
