It can be done without tapping the engine block to mount the generator. Instead, make a bracket for it to bolt to the engine mount.

Generator is for anything. This tractor had the gen added when the torque
tube was swapped to use an elect starter instead of hand crank

I am aware what it is use for. What I was getting at was if it had the torque tube changed or just for lights.

Yes to both lights and starter torque tube being added.

Somebody added a generator to dads, it is mounted under the seat and runs off the belt pulley. I know it isn't factory but it sure looks like it. Wiring is run in conduit that is formed to the tractor rear end and transmission.
