This winter has been real bad on the roads around here. I seen a contractor unloading concrete barricades for the I 65 project this week.

Our daffodils are just now putting on buds. We've had an unusually cold winter. Should have some opening up next week. Planted some that are cream with a peach center. Looking forward to when they bloom.

The TV weather babe said we just got done with nine snow days in a row, doesn't seem like that many to me but yesterday I noticed that my roof I think has the most snow I've ever seen on it. Might still be a day or two until the flowers come up.

It has been cloudy around here. For so long. I forgot what the sun even looks like.

The Oriental magnolia aka Japanese magnolia have been blooming for a few weeks.
Clover and winter grass weeds are getting a good foothold.

Was out trimming the raspberry bushes today and heard three flights of whooping cranes, they were headed north in north central Indiana. Good indication of spring and about a month earlier than normal.

That's it! I've had it!
I'm moving south. LOL

Your wife has good taste - daffodils are really pretty.

I planted some the fall previous to this one... but none came up in the spring. Not sure what I did wrong - or if some critter ate the bulbs.
