WE have all been bombarded by the news media reporting that the Russians medaled in our elections.
Did any of you get a message of any form telling you to vote for So&so. I didn't!!!!
I had my mind made up early during the past elections and can't for the life of me understand how the Russians can influence my vote at election time.
Can someone please explain this intense news hype to me.
Loren

news media controlled by loosing party maybe....need something to blame and can't get over the fact they lost. Look at a different topic, the media was all over anything that made guns look bad for a few weeks per story...then if something came up that flipped the tables on a story it was a quick mention(if at all) then never heard again, while rest continued.

Read an article today that the Dept. of Homeland Security blasted either NBC or MSNBC (sorry don't remember which it was) for continually lying about Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Per the DHS, not one single vote was influenced by Russia.

Russia has been attempting to influence US elections for decades. Unfortunately, the US is guilty of also meddling in the elections of foreign countries.

I'm not getting involved, but they planted "FAKE NEWS" on facebook and other social media, manipulated the number of views and made it look like real news. That's where the term fake news acme from. End of story and I'm done with the subject.

Maybe you need to realize what Face Book is, and where most of it comes from. Opinions are like AHs and everybody has one. Dump FB and watch more Dr. Poe and life will be more normal.

The dmc and her payed an ex rusian "spy" to get all of the goods and fabricate the fake news stories. This has turned like a vicious killer dog and is ripin them a new one. Remember the d party was almost broke and she backed them up out of her campaign treasury. Also wanted a lot of favores for that help.

Sure will be glad when this is resolved (how long can it go on?) and hopefully "lady justice" will be blind.

So far we have spent between 2.5 and 3 million dollars on a special investigation of a nothing burger. (that was our money before they spent it). No telling how much longer they will drag this out to say there was nothing there.

They never really say what "meddling" means. If it means trying to persuade voters, I guess every special interest group, such as the NAACP, NRA, ACLU, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, and union is also guilty of the same "meddling". We know it can't be hacking the voting machines, because they keep telling us that is impossible!
