Yahhhhh, bet it's as yummy as tofu. LOL

Our teenage daughter wanted to try tofu. Not wanting to quell her inquisitiveness - bought a block. Blechhhhh.

Then she wanted to try it again because she felt she didn't prepare it correctly. Sooo, bought another block. Again, blechhhhh.

Think she's sold on real meat now. Smile

Call me names if you want, redneck or whatever, but given the choice to eat fruit, vegetables, meat, milk , and poultry, or fungus grown in a vat. Well give me the meat, you go ahead and eat all the fungi you want.

Tofu can be good but it is not a meat substitute. It's protein and nothing more. Just a flavor carrier for something that has lots of spices and flavors. Can't just fry it up with salt and pepper like a steak.

I felt the other day like I was needing a protein rush. So, did what I always do -- grabbed a spoon and the peanut butter. *lol*
