Red Rock Manufacturing makes a cable to lever conversion kit. www.redrockmfg.com - look for it under miscellaneous. I'd recommend calling to verify it works with step down...

Same case was used for step up and step down so it will fit.

As Ncorrigible said red Rock has a lever conversion kit for the cable case. A other option, rather than drill another hole in the case is to get a new cable for about $65 bucks. I know Walt's tractor has them and I'm sure there are others who have them🐐

Another possibility is the switch out the cases and nose cone. If I have an extra one I might be interested in a trade but I know I don't have an extra handle
