This mower will run for maybe 15-20 minutes and shut off and sometimes back fire. If I try to start it when hot the solenoid just makes a
click click and will not start. Let it set for 10 -20 minutes and it will start and run like nothing happened and I can finish mowing or it may
shut off again at any time. I have been though all connections and all seems OK. Could this be nothing more than something to do with
the battery like a bad cell? If it would stop and not start I can figure out the problem, but there is no telling when it will stop, but it does
start every time it cools off. I cannot see where it has anything to do with ignition when the solenoid only clicks when hot. And I cannot
see why it would shut off when hot because the ignition doesn't need power to start, it is grounded out to stop. Any and all help would be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a Craftsman with a 15.5 Kolar that did something similar. My issue was the fuel shutoff solenoid mounted on the bottom of the carburetor. It get hot and shut the gas off. Once it cooled down the mower would start.
