Appears to be one that you sold new. Sn#9008952. I had to call bro to find where Case hid the sn# tag. Finally found it. Mud dobbers had it pretty well covered up, along with other stuff in the dash area.
It belongs to the used car dealer who now owns our old dealership site and buildings. They might know how to fix newer cars, but they suck when it comes to this tractor. A year ago, I told them to quit running it, because it was not even firing on one cylinder, and was likely dropping raw fuel down thru that cylinder and into the pan. They asked what I thought was wrong with it then and I told them that probably when they were trying to start it with lots of ether the previous winter that they may have bent some pushrods. They bought 2 new pushrods and replaced the ones that they found bent as I suspected, but the nitwits never adjusted the rockers after installing the pushrods and both valves on #2 cylinder were not closing. GEESE. It has set for better than a year now and they now want to use it.
They asked me to get it running properly. I went down yesterday, and the first thing I found was that the ignition key was on and battery was flat dead. They bring me out a new bat. which I set in tray and dash light come on, but nothing when I push starter button. I go in and talk to them and they tell me that they burned the old starter out trying to start it back that winter and replaced it with a starter they bought off the internet. They didn't know how to hook up a secondary solenoid which is commonly used to activate the solenoid on Denzo starters, so they jumped it with an old screwdriver. The starter that they got was a (Wilson Brand). I never heard of them, but it is a gear reduction starter like the Denzo's and cranks the engine well. When I tried their screwdriver trick the engine would not turn over. It only turned a half revolution and would turn no more. It was hydro-locked. Today, I pulled the injectors and #1 and #2 cylinder had lots of water in them, so I cranked it over for a bit with the injectors out and reinstalled the injectors one at a time so I knew that all the water was out. Tightened up the fuel lines, and it fired up. Ran rough for first minute, but smoothed out nicely. Crank case is way over full, and will change all the fluids in the tractor. After closer look at the will fit muffler, I found the exit pipe was all broken loose and water was able to run between it and the muffler can, even though it had a rain cap on it. I will likely weld the muffler back together.
The brakes don't work either. They put DOT3 in the master cylinders and they and slaves need replacing. John and Chris are going to ship me all new parts and I will switch it to DOT3 so it is common to their mentality.
I was at their mercy last week, because my 2003 Dodge Dakota died in me. I thought it was a fuel supply problem, but turned out to be a shorted wire feeding the coil. It would have taken me forever to find that. They replaced the coil and bad wire for $187 bucks and I am back up and going.
Likely more updates as things progress.

Loren I had to chuckle while reading your story, apparently my 580 was owned by the same guys at one time. I bought it on a ebay auction in MI and after it arrived, I found many similar problems as you described. Almost everything I had to repair was caused by someone that thought they could fix things, what a mess, LOL. Rod.

Rod, for the first 10 years or so I ran my repair shop I fixed about 70% of issues caused like that lol still seen them but not as much as I got them all repaired over time

Yes how about that! That was the good old days. I remember Dad selling them and I think he traded about every 580B in that he sold new. Great improvement with the front end and dropping the rear end out. They still had the VAC ring and pinion but it was easier to change.
