I know none of us like "How Much Is It Worth" questions, but I"ve been a member of this board for a long time and I know better than to expect that anyone would not precisely what something is worth. A nearby yard sale has a Simplicity 9020 for sale. I"m pretty sure it was made in 1978, has an 18 hp Onan for an engine, and is in O.K. shape. It"s supposed to have 700 plus hrs. on it. They want $1500 for it. I thought that was a little high. What do you all think?

My books show the engine for the 9020 as being an Onan CCKB at 19.5 HP. The advertised prices I've seen run about $1500 to $4500 in fair to awesome condition with a 60" belly mower.

$1500 is the low end of what they usually sell for with a deck. Also 3pt helps and if it has a working PTO all have the switch on the dash and PTO on the back but many do not have the PTO clutch and shaft installed which usually sells for around $500

Well, I suppose I was wrong about the price being too high. The tractor is a little rough due to some rough treatment, but everything is there. It"s a tough looking tractor, built strong, and just the right size. I may have to go back and give it another look. Thanks everyone.

I got a 9020 (POW'R MAX) With 3 point, pto and remote hydraulics The engine was a 19.5 hp onan but I replaced it with a liquid cooled wg750 3 cyl kubota 24 hp. ::Onan engine failed:: (Connecting Rods) before I got it. These are tough tractors and $1500.00 is a good price for a good running unit with a decent deck (Preferably 72")
