I have found a slave cylinder that is a just like the original. The part number is A51976. It fits lots of older Case backhoes and dozers. This is an aftermarket part number.
The master cylinder part number is Raybestos MC2796 or Napa UP2796. This one is 1" bore, the original is 3/4" bore, it seems to work fine, and looks the same on the outside.
The master cylinder is about $65.00, and the slaves are $40.00(beats Welters price of $98.00!).

Where can you purchase the aftermarket slave cylinder at? I"ve been looking for a source.

Just google "A51976 slave cylinder", you will find all kinds of places, some with pictures. We got ours at a local independent auto parts. The box did not have a brand, only a part number. I googled the part number to see what it would fit and found all the Case equipment listed. Here is one place I found, the slave cylinder is at the bottom of the page.
