my t20 tvo has just had a new distributor unit fitted, it is not the orginal standard type, instead its a reproduction unit. can somebody pleae help me to ensure the distributor leads are in the correct terminals as there are not insturctions or numbers on the unit.

The distributor turns CCW and the firing order is 1-3-4-2 with # 1 cylinder being nearest the radiator. You'll need to time the distributor to the # 1 position and then make sure the # 3 wire is is the next wire counter clockwise from it and so on.
If you need help settin the timing get back here or search the archives. I've given these instructions at least a 100 times and I can do it again.
