Is there a place on the web where I can convert MTD belt numbers to an actual belt size?

MTDs w/versions of their variator drive system are quite fussy about belt lengths/size/type and MTD belts seem to fall between belt mfgs offered sizes and therefore often do not work right. There is a line of quality belts called Blade Runner(Gates?)which are sized to Mfg specs for various mfgs.Do not pay "MTD Parts"prices.Their belts are often available for considerable less thru online L&G dealers.Just Google the MTD belt number.

If you have the part number try www.mfgsupply.com/MowerBeltsMTD.html
PS: You may be able to get a size on the belt if you have the p/n. Once you get that I would buy
Gates GreenStripe belt. They will withstand a lot.

Also look to an aftermarket L/G parts supplier like STENS. I have not bought a MTD belt in years. I buy them from STENS.
