Hello, I was finally able to get a picture posted (I hope) of my John Deere tractor.
Can anyone help me with identification and approx. value ? I am wanting to sell it if I can figure out a fair asking price. I see no cracks at all and only one spot on motor that might be missing.
Thanks,
Robbie Roberson.

Here is a picture of the left side. I think there may be a small piece broken off front upper area of motor.

You have what is called a 60 Small-Seat Forward. They make a Type 1 & Type 2. It is hard to tell by the pics but I believe it is a Type 2. These were made in 1952. It is valued in Criswell's Pedal Tractor Guide at $550. Hope this helps. Gerald |

Gerald, thank you. It helps a lot. I have more pictures but did not want to take up space on this site.
I was thinking somewhere in that range would be a fair asking price. I just worry about shipping something like this if I were to get a buyer.
Thanks again,
Robbie Roberson. |
