I am in need of a 5/16" or a 3/8" screen for JD mix mill as no longer available from JD

Parts book doesn't say obsolete. Sometimes the parts counter staff are somewhat lax in thier duties.

what size is the best screen for grinding milo? any info would be greatly appreciated!

Tractor horespower will vary the grind as much as screen size. Worn knives and a worn screen also come into play. All you want to do is crack the grain, don't want it to turn to powder. Been a long time ago, but if I remember correctly we used a 3/16 inch screen for milo running a 730 tractor.

How wide are the screens i have a NOS screen that I got and it is 5/16" but I do not know what model it is for
