Does this site sell the transmission front seal? I looked in the parts pages and couldn't find it.
I hope to start installing my Sherman this weekend and want to make sure I have all the parts. |

It's GOOD to support this site! HOWEVER, for ONE small part like that seal the shipping will probably eat you alive.
Go to a local auto parts store or industrial "bearings and drives"-type supplier and ask for a SKF (C/R) # 13568 or a National or Timken # 480570.
If they have it in stock or can get it on a stock order in a day or two you MAY not have to pay freight.
The NH part # is 8N7052A2, about $8 at the local NH dealer, but they don't stock it.
The nearby Deere dealer even has it in stock (for about $12) under DEERE part # AH21815. That's kinda pricey but MIGHT still be cheaper than ordering and paying freight. |

Woodchuck,
Did you happen to rebuild your Sherman?
Just wondering how it went if you did, I'm about to rebuild mine.

Thanks Dell and Bob!
I ordered a clutch kit and a new exhaust so the shipping isn't to bad. $19.00 on the whole order.
I got my Sherman combo from Jim Bills, a member of this site, who rebuilds them.
I've had it about a year and a half and am just getting around to installing it.
Thanks, again! |

Chuck,
You shouldn't have needed to order that seal. I always replace that seal when I go thru a Sherman. Did I miss one or do a bad job of it? |

Jim,
It's been so long since I got the Sherman from you I didn't even look.
I guess now I have to get another N so I can use up the extra.
The wife will be so happy! |

Can I use a 4th generation Sherman combo on an 8n? The tranny has the 15 spline inputshaft. Do you have a replacement inputshaft?
Thanks |
